My entry for =Flynn-the-cat's contest. The theme was flight
 The colors turned out a little more pastelly than I intended. >_> Also the lighting isn't as strong as it was originally meant to be... but overall, I'm satisfied. Not exactly a winning piece, though; I've done better >_< I finally got time to finish this picture I started last Thursday.  I  Sunday afternoon...This is my OC, Christina of Angelus. (I have almost 100 OC's, I think  ) She's actually not an angel; she is a bird fairy A very young bird fairy. The dovelike birds are sort of her familiars >_> If you can call them that. Done in photoshop; about 2.36 days |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Some very well matched (and pretty) colours, and I really like the way you have the shading/light consistent, the poses and things like the movement of the clothes is just right and carries the whole picture. The top bird is especially good ^_^
I really like the clouds and the hand and feet, and the clothes (pretty AND practical
Not so much: the anatomy of the girl, everything seems a bit stretched or slightly disjointed or out of proportion. It's all just right in relation to something next to it but not to other areas. Oh, I do like that belt >.> shiny... and hangs properly.

I am aware of the proportion problem. >_> I have always had difficulty with proportions; and after reading too much bishounen manga it only got worse ;_; I'm trying to improve, though! ^^
