Because if you do, you'll lose you heart.

...he has used the dark too long, time for him to pay the price...

The lighting is not light, this does not symbolize light vs dark. it just made the picture better :D

....I think I need to go practice faces now.

Drawn from scratch on photoshop CS2, without a sketch. So there are some problems.... I think I'm getting better at this shading, though! :D

It's not really light and dark waging the war, from my perspective. It looks more like somebody is forcing their spirit forth, trying to combat the darkness, which is so much greater... You poured a lot of detail into this pic, as you always do. :D
