First of all, I'm sorry about the last journal.... Thank you so much to everybody who gave me advice and support
(I've read all my messages... I just don't have time to answer them all yet )

Some good things have happened to me lately.....
-I won second in ~GEMkingdom's colouring contest! I'm so happy! I wasn't expecting to win at all! Everybody else had entered such good pictures!!! (EVERYBODY, do you hear!)The prizes are so shiny though
-My dad found me an ipody thing that plays mp3s too. And it was only $60.
-I found a big dump of *all* the final fantasy soundtracks and music~~~ Now I have to download them! Hee hee!
-I got myself an art style that is almost my own! (No it's not the game one I used on the last two deviations..... can't claim that one)
- I finished reading all the major and all I could find of the minor Clamp manga. (Is this really a good thing?) Except Watashi no Sukina Hito which looked boring, and suki which I read only one v. of and then stopped because I couldn't stand the main character
- and of course Christmas is coming!

This was balanced by only one bad thing:
-A drawing I've been wanting to draw for a long time turned out badly and I'm going to have to redo.

So good luck lately. *waits for the bad luck to catch up*

Oooh look! One of the people i watch took a shot of the same thing I did! hers is much better though!

OMH. My comics are total crap. My plotlines are weak. My dialogue is REALLY bad. My characters are weak. the art is lazy and awkward. I wish I could stop drawing them altogether until I got better, but the only way to get better is to practice. So I'm going to waste life drawing crappy comics until I get better. X( Thank you to everyone who does read my comics but I don't blame those who don't.
Don't say my comics are good just to make me feel better. I have put a lot of thought into this conclusion. I need to spend more time developing, planning, concepting, and scripting for my comics so they'll get better, which sadly means less art output. Or I could focus on art and dump my comics.
Which should I do....

Any advice to make my comics better is very welcome.

FEATURE

Just got back..... tired.... will make feature journal later.
There was a terrible cold freeze and storm predicted on the way and we thought we might not make it home but God provided and the storm stayed rain and even lessened a bit as my father drove the semi home through the dark. And we made it back without incident.
....I hope I have over two weeks before we run off to some other end of the country but I'm staying packed just in case.

I'd normally be happy but dad has decided to take the semi and trying to draw in that is like trying to draw during an earthquake! I really wanted to get some drawing done while I'm on the road but now I'm going to have to go for a long time of sitting and not being able to draw! D: And this means *another* hiatus on my comics.... man this year is really gonna put a black mark on my reputation for updates... I've been away from home so much this year, I'm getting homesick just thinking about taking another trip. D:

I got a new scanner for my birthday I got it hooked up (by myself! go me! XD ) and working so now I finally get to scan the traditional media works from as much as half a year ago that I couldn't before because my old (10-year-old) scanner sortof died. PREPARE FOR A BIG DUMP OF PENCIL WORKS
